Breaking News from Erica’s Fairy Forest:
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas
It’s all go in Erica’s Fairy Forest as Princess Erica with a little help from Queen Mammy , King Daddy, Hobbit Dempsey, the Fairy Elders and the fairy friends prepare for Christmas.
This year’s theme is “Winter Wonderland” and all the fairies are super excited especially Fairy Holly as she is the Christmas Fairy and her job is to organise the Ceremony of lights and to spread Christmas cheer throughout the forest for all to hear.
All the Fairies are super busy decorating their fairy houses and Fairy Lizette’s Fairy Hotel is completely booked out with Fairy Friends from all over the world that want to spend the holidays in Ireland this year. Captain Fairy Long Beard, Fairy Raymundo, Fairy Freya, Fairy Mario, Queen Kate’s Sister Queen Esmeralda and Queen Mother Sophia are all set to check in this very night.
Fairy Laya-Cakes has been working day and night making Christmas cakes, Mince pies and Christmas puddings, Cake Pops for Christmas with a little help from Fairy Pip, Fairy Ruby and Fairy Skylar!
Hobbit Dempsey is looking after decorating the Fairy Christmas Tree this Year. Fairy Jamesy and Fairy Raymond have been helping him untangle the Christmas tree lights. Once the Tree is decorated the Ceremony of Lights will begin.
The Ceremony of Lights is a Fairy Christmas tradition going back thousands and thousands of years and its one that the fairy elders cherish. This is when the man in the moon officially turns on his Christmas lights and those of the Fairy Forest.
Fairy Princess Erica will invite each fairy up to the tree of life to make their Christmas wish for the year and give thanks to the spirit of the forest for all they have. Each Fairy will step up to the tree and place their tiny fairy hands to the tree and once the tree lights up , the fairy will close their eyes and make a wish and give thanks. Once the Spirit of the forest hears their wish and thanks, snowflakes will start to fall from the sky and the fairy forest becomes a winter wonderland.
Then each fairy will form a circle around Erica’s Fairy Tree, and with their tiny fairy wings up into the air they will go dancing and singing around the tree.
This is also a time where Santa sends one of his Elves to move into the Fairy Forest for Christmas. This year his number one Elf “Elf Evie “is set to move in. She will be keeping an eye on all the fairy Christmas activities and all the boys and girls in cootehill and that visit the fairy forest and reporting back to Santa.
Two New Fairies are also moving in “Fairy Maud” and “Fairy Daisy-Love” - Both Fairies work will work for Erica’s Fairy Forest News and will send a report to Ericasfairyforest.com about the Ceremony of Lights and all the preparations for Christmas.
